Big Yellowfins & Big Checks: Mobile Delivers for Fat Chick

Memorial Day weekend brought momentum, big tuna, and a solid payday. At the Mobile Big Game Fishing Club’s Memorial Day Tournament, Team Fat Chick came through with 3rd, 5th, and 6th place in the overall tuna category—each backed by quality yellowfins.

The fish were in the 40–70 pound range, and the crew stayed locked in all weekend. Not only did we secure strong finishes, but we also brought home a $33,000 check, giving the team a needed boost and reminding everyone we’re here to compete.

After a rough event in Orange Beach, this result was a turning point. Every win counts, and this one felt good. Momentum is on our side heading into the next tournament.
