Sometimes the Ocean Has Other Plans: Missing the Cajun Canyons

Every team knows that fishing offshore is a test of endurance—not just on the water but in keeping the boat in top shape. After pushing through some mechanical issues during previous events, we made the call to sit out the Cajun Canyons Billfish Classic to get our engines dialed in.

It wasn’t easy watching from the sidelines, but reliability offshore is everything. This downtime gave us the chance to do things right. Now the boat’s back in prime condition, and we’re fired up to return stronger for the upcoming Florida legs of the Gulf of America Tour.

Sometimes, taking a step back is the only way to move forward.
